Synopsis

Theodora "Dora" Ettings lost half her soul to a fae lord as a child, leaving her without manners, fear, or patience for Society's games. Sent to London for the Season by well-meaning relatives, her blunt honesty and odd behavior mark her as an embarrassment, until she catches the attention of Elias Wilder, the Lord Sorcier: the most powerful magician in England and just as socially hopeless as she is. When Dora discovers that workhouse orphans are quietly disappearing, Elias is the only person who takes her seriously, and the two form an unlikely alliance that pulls them into London's hidden fae underworld, and slowly, toward each other. Olivia Atwater's Regency Faerie Tales opener is a whimsical, warm-hearted fantasy romance about two misfits who don't quite fit Society's mold.
