CLAMP is an all-female Japanese manga artist group. Nanase Ohkawa writes the stories, and three artists, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi and Satsuki Igarashi, share the art, with their roles shifting from one series to the next. The group began in the mid-1980s as a dōjinshi circle of twelve members and made its professional debut in 1989 with RG Veda. Its best-known works include Magic Knight Rayearth, Cardcaptor Sakura, Chobits, xxxHolic and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle.
