Synopsis

In the heart of rural Wessex, the independent Bathsheba Everdene inherits a farm, drawing the attention of three very different men. Boldwood, the steady farmer; Troy, the dashing soldier; and Gabriel Oak, the devoted shepherd, all vie for her affection, each presenting unique challenges.
