Fake As Puck

Sophie Porter, the Denver Bashers' team doctor and daughter of the head coach, proposes a fake relationship with one of the team's players so she can finally push back against her overprotective dad. He never thought he'd have a real shot with a good girl who has just enough of a naughty streak to be his weakness, and assumes the arrangement is purely for show — until Sophie makes him feel wanted and safe enough to open up about a painful past no one else has gotten close to.
