Synopsis
Eschenelegie opens Marleen S. Meri's Lieder der Wälder series, a dark fantasy steeped in nature worship and pagan mythology. When the forests come under threat, the deity Keyll Naomh chooses the arrogant Prince Severyn Pádraig as the new prophet, tasking him with confronting the danger rising over his realm.
Severyn is unenthusiastic about being paired with a band of seemingly carefree traveling performers to carry out this mission, but soon discovers his companions are more than they seem — and that the dark forces turning against the forests are far more sinister than anyone anticipated.
