Synopsis

Bar owner Dylan Bad has a well-earned reputation as the man women turn to when they need rescuing, a self-appointed knight who enjoys playing the hero a little too much. Then Tiffany Winters walks into his life and upends the pattern entirely. A sharp, ruthless sports agent who looks like temptation and negotiates like a shark, Tiffany is the last woman who would ever admit to needing anyone, least of all a man offering to save her. She would sooner cling to a ledge alone than reach for his outstretched hand. One night and far too much tequila throw the two of them together and threaten to change both their lives for good, and the real question is whether either of them can survive letting their guard down long enough to find out. Their story pairs two headstrong people who refuse to be rescued and dares them to meet as equals rather than as savior and damsel.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I read Dylan as a standalone, or do I need to read the series in order?

You can read Dylan on its own. It is book 2 of Bad Boys After Dark, one of the interconnected sub-series in Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom collection, and every Love in Bloom book is written as a standalone with its own complete romance and a guaranteed happily ever after. Reading the series in order simply lets you follow the extended family as familiar characters reappear across the books.

  • Who are the main characters in Dylan?

Dylan follows Dylan Bad and Tiffany Winters. Their romance is the heart of the book, set among the big, close-knit families Melissa Foster's readers return for.

  • How steamy is Dylan?

Dylan is an open-door contemporary romance, so it pairs its emotional story with on-page love scenes. Readers who prefer sweeter, closed-door versions can look for Melissa Foster's clean-language editions published under her pen name, Addison Cole.
