Synopsis

Max, a veteran activist, faces a mid-life crisis amidst the post-9/11 world, feeling lonely and uncertain about her future. Her disillusionment is shattered by the murder of her friend Vickie, a transvestite. As the LGBTQ+ community unites in grief and protest, Max rediscovers her activist spirit and finds renewed hope for her future.
