Synopsis

City Councilman Isaac Presley hires Ethan Reckless to expose a corrupt businessman who ruined his late father's community plans, launching what looks like a straightforward investigation into the LA real estate world. But the case turns deadly fast, and this third Reckless volume spends as much time on Anna — how she first met Ethan and became his partner at the movie-theater headquarters — as it does on the mystery itself.

Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, and Jacob Phillips deepen the strain between Ethan and Anna's professional and personal partnership, making this installment as much about their relationship as the case that threatens to break it.
