Synopsis

Ethan Reckless makes his living as a repo man and problem-solver-for-hire, taking calls through a 1-800 number answered by his punk assistant Anna from the rundown movie theater they call home base. When Rainy — a former flame from his days in a radical underground movement — reaches out asking him to recover money stolen in an old bank robbery, Ethan is pulled back into exactly the kind of danger he thought he'd left behind.

Ed Brubaker, Sean Phillips, and Jacob Phillips open the Reckless series with a stripped-down, pulpy detective story steeped in early-'80s Los Angeles atmosphere and Ethan's unresolved radical past.
