Dandadan, Vol. 13

It is revealed that Vamola, the girl found inside the kaiju suit, is actually a survivor of the once-thriving Sumerian race from deep space. Her homeworld was attacked by the same aliens now targeting Earth, scattering her people. She had to plot her own escape with a group of other women, including Banga, who found her as a child and raised her. The volume widens the series' science-fiction backstory considerably.
