Cruel Winter with You
Synopsis
Jamie Malek, a newly minted pediatrician, only wants to borrow a roasting pan for Christmas dinner. The problem is who she has to borrow it from: Marc, her best friend's troublemaking younger brother, now a tech billionaire—and the one who got away. Years ago, Jamie was the one who broke his heart, and neither of them has quite gotten over it.
Then a blizzard closes in. Snowbound together with a crackling fire and nowhere to escape the memories, Jamie and Marc find the old spark hasn't faded so much as banked. Over a single storm-locked night, second-guessing turns into second chances.
The first entry in the Under the Mistletoe Collection of holiday romances, Cruel Winter with You is a short, cozy, high-heat novella from Ali Hazelwood—a quick one-sitting read built on a second-chance reunion, forced proximity, and the warmth of a good snowstorm.
