Synopsis

In 1920s Melbourne, the Honourable Phryne Fisher — a wealthy socialite with an uncanny knack for solving crimes — is asked to investigate a string of suspicious deaths linked to cocaine smuggling. What starts as a case of poisoned wives and corrupt cops spirals into a dangerous conspiracy involving international drug traffickers, local underworld figures, and a ruthless gang known as the 'Death Squad.' With her sharp wit and even sharper instincts, Phryne must navigate Melbourne's criminal underbelly while keeping her own reckless impulses in check.
