Synopsis

As Tessa Gray prepares to marry Jem Carstairs, the Shadowhunters make their final stand against Mortmain, the industrialist known as the Magister, who intends to wipe out the Nephilim with his army of clockwork automatons. When Tessa is taken by Mortmain, Will and Jem must confront both the enemy and the truth of their own bond to save her and the London Institute. The conclusion of the trilogy resolves Tessa's feelings for both men and the mystery of her own origins.
