Bookshop on the Corner

Nina Redmond is a librarian with an unteachable gift: she can look at a person and know which book will change their week. When her library closes and the job goes with it, the gift has nowhere to go.

So she buys a van. She drives it out of Birmingham and up to the Scottish Highlands, to the village of Kirrinfief, and turns it into a travelling bookshop — which means learning to drive properly, to bargain, to live somewhere very small, and to deal with a landlord, Lennox, who has no visible interest in being charmed.
