Book Clubbed is the eighth Booktown Mystery from Lorna Barrett, set in Stoneham, New Hampshire, the small town that reinvented itself as a village of bookstores.

Bookstore owner Tricia Miles and her sister Angelica put their own problems on the shelf to catch a killer who turned a bookcase into a murder weapon. Cranky Chamber of Commerce receptionist Betsy Dittmeyer is done reading people the riot act: she is found crushed beneath a fallen bookcase.

The next item to be read is Betsy's last will and testament, and it is packed with surprises. Barrett keeps the cozy machinery running, mystery bookshop, small-town rivalries, and a sleuth who cannot leave a suspicious death alone, while the sisters work out who had reason to want Betsy silenced.
