Amie Kaufman is an Australian author born in Melbourne who grew up partly in Ireland. She holds honours degrees in law, history, and literature and a master's in conflict resolution, and worked as a mediator for seven years before writing full-time. Jay Kristoff is an Australian author of fantasy and science fiction, born in Perth, Western Australia, on 11 November 1973. He spent eleven years working in creative advertising for television before beginning his writing career in 2012, and now lives in Melbourne.
