Synopsis

In the late 2080s, humanity’s first and only city on the Moon is a company town of roughly two thousand people living under domes and running on smelted aluminum and tourist money. Jasmine ‘Jazz’ Bashara works there as a porter, ferrying packages while quietly smuggling contraband past customs to claw her way out of poverty. When a wealthy contact offers her a fortune to sabotage a rival’s operation, she takes the job — and lands in the middle of a conspiracy over who really controls Artemis. Part heist, part survival story, the novel runs on the hard engineering of life in low gravity and the economics of an off-world settlement, with a sharp-tongued, morally flexible narrator at its center.
