An ice-cream war

As Europe plunges into the Great War in the summer of 1914, a bizarre and often farcical conflict erupts in German East Africa. British and German colonial forces clash in a remote theater of World War I, far from the Western Front. This novel explores the strange events and human follies of a forgotten war, where the absurd often overshadows the tragic.
