After the Forest

Twenty years after escaping the witch's gingerbread house, Greta and her brother Hans are barely scraping by. Hans is buried in gambling debts, their mother and stepmother are long dead, and the countryside still bears the scars of a brutal war.

What no one knows is that Greta secretly kept the witch's grimoire, and the whispered recipe inside it is what's been keeping her and Hans fed through her gingerbread sales. But the grimoire's magic comes with a price, and as Greta is pulled back into a world of shape-shifters and half-remembered darkness, she has to decide how much of the witch's legacy she's willing to carry.
