Synopsis

Eve Brown is the youngest of the Brown sisters — chaotic, warm-hearted, and used to disappointing everyone, herself included. After her latest venture collapses and her parents refuse to keep bailing her out, she drives to the Lake District on a whim and lands a job as chef at a small bed and breakfast in the village of Skybriar. The B&B's owner, Jacob Wayne, runs a tight ship and has no patience for the purple-haired newcomer who turns his kitchen upside down — until circumstance forces him to give her a chance. As Eve and Jacob are thrown together, each of them navigating being autistic in a world that rarely makes room for it, their prickly working relationship turns into something neither expected. The final book in Hibbert's Brown Sisters trilogy, following Get a Life, Chloe Brown and Take a Hint, Dani Brown, told with the same warmth and humor as the rest of the series.
