Synopsis

進撃の巨人 7 is the Japanese Kodansha tankōbon collecting chapters 27–30 of Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan ("Erwin Smith," "Choices and Consequences," "Crushing Blow," "Losers"), first published April 9, 2012. Commander Erwin deduces that the Female Titan he captured has survived; she later intercepts Eren and Levi's squad, killing most of its members and abducting Eren before Mikasa and Levi arrive to incapacitate her and pull him free. The Survey Corps return home badly depleted, and command hands Eren over to the Military Police.

The series as a whole ran in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2009 to 2021 and is catalogued there under the Shōnen Magazine Comics imprint, with dark fantasy and post-apocalyptic action as its core genres — humanity survives behind three walled cities against man-eating Titans of unknown origin. That series-level classification, rather than anything specific to this single volume, is what the genre, audience and pace fields below record.
