Scoundrels

Four Regency-era historical romances Loretta Chase published between 1992 and 1998. The grouping was retrospective rather than planned — the author has said it never really had a title, unlike her Carsingtons and Dressmakers books — and the novels are linked by recurring characters and by disreputable heroes remade by love, with Lord of Scoundrels at the centre. The novella The Mad Earl's Bride, first published in the 1995 anthology Three Weddings and a Kiss, sits between the third and fourth books.
