Noise

Noise (ノイズ) is a three-volume rural-noir thriller by Tetsuya Tsutsui, serialized in Shueisha's Grand Jump from 2017 to 2020. On a depopulated island brought back to life by its prized "black fig" harvest, fig farmer Keita Izumi's encounter with a dangerous drifter draws him and a loyal local police officer into a widening cover-up. It was adapted into a live-action film in 2022.
