Grant Stockbridge

Grant Stockbridge is a house pseudonym used by Popular Publications for the Spider pulp magazine (1933 to 1943), a name chosen to recall Maxwell Grant, the house name behind The Shadow. The first two Spider novels were by R. T. M. Scott. From the third issue most of the series was written by Norvell W. Page, with other novels by writers including Emile C. Tepperman, Wayne Rogers and Prentice Winchell. Because the credit covers several writers, there is no single biography, birth date or nationality for Grant Stockbridge.
