Charlotte Roche (born 18 March 1978 in High Wycombe, England) is a British-German author, television presenter and actress. Raised in Germany from age eight, she first became known as a music-television host on VIVA before turning to writing. Her 2008 debut novel Wetlands (Feuchtgebiete) became an international bestseller for its frank treatment of female sexuality and the body. She followed it with a second novel, Wrecked (Schoßgebete), in 2011.
