You and I Are Polar Opposites, Vol. 1 introduces Miyu Suzuki, a cheerful high school student who finds herself drawn to Yusuke Tani, a classmate whose stoic, rule-indifferent personality is the exact opposite of her own.

Rather than following the typical slow-burn setup where it takes volumes for two characters to get together, this series subverts expectations by having Miyu and Yusuke begin dating almost right away. The focus shifts instead to how their clashing temperaments and insecurities play out once they're actually a couple, as Miyu works through her own anxieties about connecting with someone so different from her.

A humorous, character-driven shojo romance about what happens after the confession, when two opposite people have to figure out how to actually be together.
