Synopsis

In the puritanical lands of Bethel, Immanuelle Moore's existence is considered blasphemy due to her mother's union with an outsider. Despite her efforts to conform, a mishap leads her into the forbidden Darkwood, where she encounters the spirits of powerful witches and discovers her dead mother's journal. As Immanuelle uncovers grim truths about her society and its history, she realizes that the true darkness lies within Bethel itself, and that change must begin with her.
