Synopsis

The third collected volume of Valiant Entertainment's flagship X-O Manowar series (2012), Planet Death gathers issues #9-14 from writer Robert Venditti and artists Cary Nord and Trevor Hairsine. Aric of Dacia is a fifth-century Visigoth ripped from his own time and bonded to Shanhara, the most powerful weapon in the universe.

In this arc, Aric turns from prey to predator, carrying his war to the Vine homeworld of Loam. As his forefathers once sacked Rome, Aric descends on the alien empire that enslaved him, determined to level their cities and shatter their armies. Planet Death is a sci-fi war epic that closes out the series' foundational storyline.
