X-Men By Gerry Duggan Vol. 5

Collecting X-Men (2021) #25–29, this volume finds the team reeling as the Fall of X storyline escalates. Kitty Pryde — who's gone by Sprite, Ariel, Red Queen, and Captain Kate — emerges from tragedy as Shadowkat, even as Emma Frost's shocking marriage to Tony Stark scrambles mutant alliances and Cyclops goes conspicuously missing. Meanwhile Juggernaut, once mutantkind's ally, turns violently on Firestar for reasons that aren't yet clear, and Doctor Doom unveils his own Latverian X-Men to claim the team's mantle.

Gerry Duggan keeps the X-Men line's post-Krakoa fallout escalating, layering personal reinvention against a mutant world under mounting external threat.
