Worlds of Arthur is a great way for a layperson to start learning about the origins of the Arthurian legend and to get acquainted with the related history of the period. I wish I had read this one earlier, as I started my incursion into the Arthurian world, since reading it now didn't inform me of much I didn't know already. I did enjoy immensely that the author made a detailed analysis of the controversial possibility that the Anglo-Saxon migration wasn't as massive as it has been previously thought.
