Synopsis

Winds of Darkness is the sixth entry in Melissa K. Roehrich's Lady of Darkness series, a dark fantasy romance sequence set in a realm of Fae Courts and mortal lands still rebuilding after the Great War.

Rather than a single novel, the book collects two novellas. In one, the Wind Princess seeks an audience with Prince Briar Drayce, ruler of the Water Court, and asks something of him that could set the Courts, the realm and the gods against him. In the other, a man who learns the Baroness's darkest secrets swears to end her, and is cursed for his rebellion.

Both stories widen the world around the main sequence, trading the central romance for vengeance, grief and unlikely allies. Readers coming to it will want the earlier books first.
