Wild Born
In the world of Erdas, children come of age by discovering if they have a spirit animal, a rare bond that grants great powers. Four children, separated by distance, undergo a ritual and emerge as powerful beasts. Now, a dark force threatens their world, and the fate of Erdas rests on these four young strangers.
Wild Born is the first book in the Spirit Animals series, which is a multi-author collaborative project. While it introduces the main characters and premise, the overarching narrative continues across several subsequent books.
Wild Born is part of a distinct series, Spirit Animals, and is not directly connected to Brandon Mull's other well-known series like Fablehaven or Beyonders. It features a different world and set of characters.
