Synopsis

Tess has good reason to distrust charming men, especially after her father's history of infidelity. When playwright Steve Houghten appears uninvited at her brother's French villa, she's immediately on guard. Steve's persistent questions about her father only deepen her suspicions, even as she finds herself drawn to him. Can Tess overcome her past to embrace a love she never expected?

As a child, she was moved from relative to relative to escape the bombings of World War II. Sheila attended the Ursuline Convent for Girls.
