Synopsis

In December 2001, sixty-two-year-old Germaine Greer took on the challenge of restoring sixty hectares of abandoned dairy farm in south-east Queensland. This land, devastated by a century of logging and clearing, presented an irresistible opportunity for conservation. Greer's personal journey intertwines with the ecological recovery of this Australian rainforest.
