I’m not really a poetry person, so this surprised me in the best way. It felt so raw and unfiltered. Some of the metaphors definitely went over my head (that’s on me), but the emotions still landed. It’s one of those books I know I’ll come back to as a reread after I learn a bit more, just to see it hit even harder the second time.
