Oh man ! What a hard hitting memoir . The first part of the book is about how Paul grew up , chose literature and medicine and what made him , well him - a very successful neurosurgeon at the end of his residency. And the second part is just plain tragic.
It’s a very gut wrenching , hard hitting book that smacks you in the face and yells at you to live life everyday . Every single minute of every single day.
Also , cancer sucks . And it can take anyone away.
