What Are The Odds

What Are The Odds is the first book in Madi Leigh's Phil-U series, a college sports romance following Grace Hughes, an Australian exchange student who arrives at the American college Phil-U after the death of her parents. She quickly becomes the target of a wager between Levi Holloway, the hockey team's captain, and the football captain — whoever gets Grace to fall for them first wins the rights to the campus gym.

Levi doesn't expect to actually fall for Grace, but as the two grow closer, he finds himself scrambling to keep the terms of the bet hidden from her while also trying to convince her to stay in the U.S. after graduation instead of returning home. The novel follows their relationship from a manufactured setup to something Levi has to fight to protect, complicated by the looming discovery of how it started.
