Weihnachten in den Weiden

Weihnachten in den Weiden
Synopsis
Mole is looking forward to the twelve days of Christmas with his friends along the River Bank — until the normally cheerful Toad falls into despair over the arrival of Mrs. Ffleshe, an impossibly rude houseguest he can't get rid of. Mole hatches a plan with Ratty, Badger, and Otter to solve the problem, but it goes wrong badly enough that the four friends risk spending Christmas in jail instead.
"Weihnachten in den Weiden" is the German edition of William Horwood's "The Willows at Christmas," one of his sequels to Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows," continuing the same gentle, whimsical animal-society world with an added dose of seasonal warmth and slapstick.
