Overall, this was a really fun, wild run.
At first, the narration annoyed me a little with the repeated mention and focus on Eve's rumination habits, her people-pleasing personality, etc. and as much as I could personally relate to her, at some point, it had me thinking, ok we get it!
Luckily, it seems like the author found the proper voice and the narration improved as the story moved forward and the storyline became actually engaging.
I really loved the little pieces of research/commentary we got here and there as they created a bigger picture of the Old House and the related incidents.
Despite all of that, I was so scared it would turn out to be a case of an unreliable narrator in the end, because Eve's case seemed... different from the previous incidents.
But I really liked the ending, I liked the whole story.
