Synopsis

In the twenty-sixth century AD, citizens of OneState live in a glass-enclosed city of absolute straight lines, their lives meticulously controlled by the all-powerful 'Benefactor'. Passion and creativity are suppressed in this totalitarian society. However, D-503, a mathematician who once only dreamed in numbers, makes a profound discovery: he possesses an individual soul, setting him on a path toward forbidden freedom.
