Synopsis

Bob Johansson thought selling his software company meant a life of leisure, but a fatal street crossing changed everything. Waking up a century later, he discovers he's been uploaded into a computer and tasked with piloting an interstellar probe. To avoid being switched off, Bob must accept the mission, but this puts him in the crosshairs of rival nations and unknown cosmic threats. His only hope for survival is to race into the unknown depths of space.

Dennis E. Taylor is a Canadian science fiction author and former computer programmer, best known for the Bobiverse series that began with We Are Legion (We Are Bob). He spent most of his career in corporate IT, including at the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, before retiring from programming to write full-time after the Bobiverse audiobooks became bestsellers. He lives near Vancouver, British Columbia.
