We are all Columbine: 25 Years of Healing

Written for the 25th anniversary of the April 20, 1999 attack, this book walks readers through Columbine High School and the Columbine Memorial much as a visitor would experience them today, pairing that guided tour with an update on where the school and the wider community stand a quarter-century on.

The author, C. Shepard, runs aColumbineSite.com, described as the longest-running research site devoted to the shooting, and has followed the tragedy's aftermath and the community's recovery for the full 25 years since. That research base is what the book draws on to correct persistent misconceptions about what happened and to trace how survivors and families have worked to turn the tragedy into something constructive.

It is the first book in the author's "A Columbine Book" series; a second volume, covering the timeline of the shooting itself, followed later in 2024.
