Synopsis

Vietnam veteran David Larson, unable to return home, drifts into the desolate landscape of Slut's Hole, Wyoming. He finds an unlikely family with Sixbury, a one-legged sheep farmer, her mentally handicapped son, and later, an abandoned Vietnamese girl named Butch. A tragic turn of events pushes the story into violent territory, examining notions of home, family, and the uncertain responsibilities of an individual in society.
