Synopsis

In fourteenth-century southern India, a nine-year-old girl named Pampa Kampana has a divine encounter after witnessing her mother's death. Empowered by a goddess, she becomes instrumental in creating Bisnaga, a fantastical empire she literally whispers into existence from magic seeds. Over 250 years, Pampa Kampana's life intertwines with the city's rise and tragic fall, as she strives to ensure women's agency in a patriarchal world, only to find the story of her creation taking on a life of its own.
