Synopsis

When Victoire Duvenay is unwillingly presented as the Marquis of Tarn's ruined victim, she quickly realizes she's a pawn in a larger scheme. Far from defenseless, Victoire decides to take control of her own destiny, becoming a sensation in London society. She sets out to tame the arrogant Marquis, who finds himself unexpectedly drawn to her, amidst a flurry of suitors, rivals, and family machinations.
