The Verdict is in… I’m adding this book to my list of favorites! I absolutely devoured this in one sitting and enjoyed every page of it. This is book three in the Primrose Hill series, and this time we’re following Ava, a lawyer, and Cohen, a charming playboy and professional baseball player who also happens to be Ava’s older brother Walker’s best friend.
I really connected with Ava’s internal struggle. The author put into words something I’ve felt my entire life but could never fully explain, so I have to share this quote:
“I hovered on the edge of other people’s lives, close enough to be included, never close enough to be essential. Surface-level friendships that looked full from the outside. I was constantly surrounded by people, and yet incredibly alone. I tried to fix myself. Tried to be the kind of girl people picked”. 😮💨
Without spoiling much, this was a great fast-paced story. All gas, no brakes! You could feel the characters emotions and connection. Ava and Cohen were so fun to read about. I’ll be sitting on Primrose Hill waiting impatiently for the next book!
Thank you to the Author, Brittany Storm for the ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
