Huge MEH. Honestly, I only started reading this book because of the series, but this is such a cliché. I'm sorry but in this case the series is better than the book. It's just so... simple. Everything happens so fast and it doesn't make sense that from one chapter to another they go from absolute strangers to soulmates. And it's all so cheesy, good guy suffering, girl who needs to save him, bad guy coming to town, and eventually girl will fall for the bad guy. It's just absurd, I'm sorry. I hoped that reading the book will give me more information about the Salvatore brothers, because I'm such a fan of the series, but instead I got a cheesy cliché. Sad.
