Synopsis

A satirical, paranoid romp through 1960s New York and the occult, with a cast of eccentric characters and a plot that unravels into conspiracy theory and metafiction — classic Pynchon territory. The tone is darkly comic and absurdist rather than straightforward; the humor is dense and ironic, and the paranoia/mystery elements (the identity of V., the conspiracy of the "T-1000" and the "T-10000" programs) are central. No romance or violence is graphic or explicit in the text, so the violence tag is absent.
