Seriously a fan of this author's style-- clean and sharp, descriptive yet secretive. Totally good with story telling and arranging the plot. Got a glimpse, a hint and hunch of everything before Mislan could reached for the conclusion. It was always thrilled and suspenseful, full of love and hate-- on the idea and investigation stuff as well as how the author inserted real life scene of insensitive and opportunist politicians, taking advantage on the issue just to gain cheap publicity. Sincerely like the plot idea for this-- taboo issue that still relevant nowadays. Something to giggle about with Mislan's attitude in here-- sneaky and naughty but full of charms. Him and Jo the best duo and I love Sherry for her plain by the book personalities. They showed various angle of police investigation from their perspective-- quite a scene to admire at, as well as how they managed to settle all conflicts be it with media and upper influential people. Great teamwork though a bit bitter on how it was ended-- hoping for some thrilling and enthralling catching the villain showcase. Anyhoo, I still love the book very much.
