Three brilliant students from diverse backgrounds find themselves in a progressive history professor's current events class, where she takes pride in dismantling students' religious beliefs. As they square off against Dr. Rhoads in an intellectual and political battleground, an aspiring law student is persuaded to defend the Book of Mormon for a crucial midterm paper.
